Established in 2021 E-Vass is the first E-Biking specific activity provider in Vasiliki, Lefkada.
After working in Vasiliki for 8 summer seasons we were always blown away by the incredible natural terrain and gorgeous views of the island of Lefkada. However, the elevation and summer heat restricted biking to the early hours of the day and to people of a high fitness level.
Now with the revolutionary Electric Mountain Bike (EMTB) people of all ability and fitness levels can access rides that previously were unobtainable, at any time of the day! Opening an abundance of new trails and breathtaking views.
Owner and head guide Sam Green has been working in outdoor education for 10 years primarily instructing in Windsurfing and Mountain Biking. Bringing a wealth of experience and understanding of the island, the sport and how to help you achieve your goals in the safest and most enjoyable way.
We are mountain and water sport enthusiasts and strive to share our passion with you whether you are an avid mountain biker, a complete beginner or simply hunting for a different way to enjoy our beautiful island.
We do not believe in compromising on quality, having worked with a wide range of quality equipment there is nothing more frustrating than gear that holds you back. As such we are proud to announce our fleet of Whyte E-bikes. 6 - 160 mm travel dual suspension Whyte E 160 S’s in sizes Small, Medium and Large as well as 10 electric scooters to get around town.
Our Base Camp located near the town on the beachfront promenade is a friendly hangout where you can try the bikes out, improve your skills in the skills park or simply pop by for a coffee or beer. Where our friendly team will be more than happy to answer any questions you may have and share their knowledge of the island and the sport.
MEET YOUR GUIDES
Sam
Head guide and owner Sam has a wealth of experience in both biking as a former competitive downhill MTB racer and as an instructor with over 10 years of experience in outdoor education. Sam’s favourite thing about E-Bikes is how enjoyable it makes climbing turning the whole ride into a fun experience for everyone.
Suzie
Suzie is a keen biker who loves to explore the hidden view spots of this island. She has been riding in Vasiliki and the surrounding area for over 30 years and will take you on a fantastic loop to jaw-dropping lookouts linked by fun, achievable double tracks and fire roads. Suzie loves how the E-Bikes allow a group of varied abilities to ride together.
Roger
Roger has been riding bikes in Vasiliki for longer than almost anyone else. He has a deep knowledge of all the classic loops and built most of the local single tracks himself. Always happy to add fun descents onto a ride make sure you pick his brain for your gravity fix. Roger’s favourite thing about the E-Bike is being able to ride a 30+ km ride in the morning without being exhausted for the rest of the day.
